Draw a character, then watch it dance.
Doodle Dance turns a drawing into a dancing character. Draw one with the pen, colours and eraser, or take a photo of a drawing on paper, and the app finds its head, arms and legs by itself. Nudge any joint that needs a fix, pick a move — a dab, jumping jacks, a wave, a zombie walk or a full dance — and save the result to Photos, share it, or export it as a video or a GIF. Everything runs on the device: there is no account and no server, and your drawings stay on your phone.

A look at the key screens and experience.

Everything that makes Doodle Dance powerful.
The character you draw is the one that moves. Its body is cut into a mesh and bent along a skeleton, so the lines, colours and wobbles you drew stay exactly as you made them.
Draw on the screen with a pen, colours, an eraser and undo, or take a photo of a drawing you made on paper. The app cuts the character out of the photo by itself.
Doodle Dance places sixteen joints — head, shoulders, elbows, hands, hips, knees and feet — on your character. Drag any joint that landed in the wrong spot before you animate.
Dab, jumping, jumping jacks, wave hello, zombie and dance, with music you can switch on. Try one move, then another, without drawing again.
Save a dance to your photo library, send it through the share sheet, or export it as an MP4 video or a GIF that loops.
There is no account and no sign-up. Drawing, rigging and animating all happen on your phone, and your drawings are kept in the app's own storage until you delete them.
