Save the places you care about, offline.
Location Pocket saves the places that matter to you — the level your car is parked on, the chai stall worth returning to, a friend's new flat — with notes, photos, favourites and the live distance from wherever you are standing. It is local-first: there is no account, no server and no network call, so every feature works with the aeroplane mode on and all of your data stays in a database on your own device.

A look at the key screens and experience.

Everything that makes Location Pocket powerful.
There is no backend, no API key and no sign-in. Saving, searching, editing and navigating all work without a connection, because everything happens on the device.
Every saved place shows how far it is from your current position, worked out on the device. Sort by nearest, recently added or name, search by name, address or note, and filter by category or favourites. Distances are calculated as you look, never stored, in kilometres or miles.
Adding a place records your GPS position and turns it into an address on the device itself — no map tiles, no geocoding service. One tap refreshes it if you have moved.
Attach a note and a photo to any place, sort it into one of twelve categories, and mark the ones you return to. Notes hold the things a pin cannot: a parking pillar number, a gate, a Wi-Fi code, opening hours. Photos are copied into the app's own private storage, so they stay put even if you clear your camera roll.
Navigate passes the saved coordinates to whichever maps or ride app you have installed, so you are not tied to one of them. Share sends the place wherever you like.
Export your places as a single portable file and keep it wherever you want. Importing validates the whole file first and restores it in one transaction, so a corrupt backup can never damage what you already have.
